This is loosely based on the song "Mole in the Ground" by Bascom Lamar Lunsford. I originally intended this little tune to be a sort of earthy homage to its "old timey" roots, however, I've been working with this hip-hop producer for the last couple of months who is intrigued with the marriage of roots music and hip-hop. Me, I got no farkin' idea. So, I let him have his fun. This is one example of our experiment. Done in Logic Pro. The original mix of this was, imo, very bottom heavy. (you know those hippity-hop guy's... all into that thumpty-thump) so I brought that down a bit.
