because I’ve had a number of folks ask where some of my songs are available on the net, here’s a brief rundown of some of the sites I list my mp3′s. Of course you could host your own streaming with software like andromeda, but most folks don’t have the time or ability to do so. Also hosting audio on one of these public sites makes your songs easier to find in the babel of the internet.
mp3.com mp3.com is sort of the granddaddy of the mp3 sites. On the up-side, it has tons of music. On the down side, your stuff can get lost, and unless you pay them some dough, it can take weeks for your songs to show up on the site.
soundclick Soundclick may not be as slick as mp3.com, but it has a lot going for it. You upload your songs and they (amost) instantly generate al “lo-fi” file of it and the songs are almost instantly ready to stream and download. Highly reccomended.
besonic Besonic is a European based mp3 streamer. It’s free and a no-brainer.
