I have found my new favorite drink. And I think this could be big trouble. Absinthe and champaign. This drink is allegedly Hemingway’s favorite way to enjoy the Green Fairy. I prefer this over the traditional method of drinking absinthe with all that sugar, although you don’t get the beautiful louche. The biggest problem with the champaign method, is that drinking the absinthe with champaign you end up consuming more alcohol then you need, when what I’m really interested in is the absinthe. Maybe I’ll give it a shot with sparkling cider.
